Guide to brewing Auto Drip

Autodrip and pour over coffee share a similar history. The inventor of the paper coffee filter also gave way to the autodrip coffee maker. Amalie Auguste Melitta Bentz or as most people know the brand as Melitta patented the first paper coffee filter which gave rise to both the pour over and auto drip coffee maker.

Equipment needed: Coffee machine, filters, grinder (recommended)

Standard Ratio: 1:15 - 1:18

Grind Setting: Medium- Coffee grounds should be generally the size of ground pepper
